Castlefield In Bloom, Not One But Two Awards!

The hard work of our volunteers gets recognised

At the North West In Bloom Awards ceremony on 30 November 2019, Castlefield was presented with two Outstanding awards, for Castlefield and for The Friends of the Roman Gardens.

The judging was carried out at the end of July, and the award ceremony was attended by Forum Chair, Carol Middleton, and volunteer, Carol Standfield. The result for the Roman Gardens was the best we have achieved yet.

We'd like to say a very special thank you to all the volunteers, and especially Carol Stansfield and Ann Webb, who come out in all weathers for gardening, litter picking and generally tidying up. We couldn't do it without you. These awards are for all your hard work!
