Castlefield Forum Achieves Charitable Status

After a lengthy application process, Castlefield Forum has finally been granted charitable status.

After what was a long time in the planning, and a lengthy application process, Castlefield Forum has been granted charitable status.

The constitution states the objects of the Forum as:

To conserve and enhance the heritage assets of the Castlefield area for the benefit of the public by

1. Protecting and promoting the Castlefield Conservation Area;

2. Working to secure the preservation, protection, development and improvement of features or areas of historic or public interest;

3. Promoting the conservation of the environment;

4. Educating the public in the geography, history, natural history, culture and architecture of the area;

5. Promoting high standards of planning and architecture.

6. Supporting the promotion of urban regeneration.
